Nookrono is Nooka’s first project funded by outside capital. Founded in 2004, Nooka Inc. is a design studio that re-imagines the aesthetics and function of product design. The company is most notable for its unique digital watches that are read by a matrix of dots and lines in place of hands and digits. The challenge of the Nookrono project was to develop a contemporary aesthetic for a classical style of watches to be produced through a crowdfunding campaign.

While working with the creative director to generate design iterations of the watch, I communicated with the production manager regarding specifications of the internal module. With Nooka's team, I helped to organize the framework and visual content of the crowdfunding campaign. After launching the campaign, I provided updates for supporters and communicated with those with questions regarding its production. Once the campaign accumulated enough funds, I sent specifications to the production manager to begin its manufacturing overseas.
